About Walk For Autism
Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge to walk 10,000 steps every day from 26 March to 2 April. That’s 8 walking days in total.
It’s a virtual event which means you can do it at your own pace, in your own time. There are no organised walks to attend.
Challenge yourself to walk 10,000 steps a day for 8 days, from Friday 26 March to Friday 2 April 2021, while raising much-needed funds to support autistic people in the UK.
Why I Taken Part In Walk For Autism
As some of you know I have autism and it’s close to my heart that’s why when Walk For Autism starts it’s walking every year I always take part. There are so many kids and adults all over the U.K who needs help and support even more now when so much is changing. Walk For Autism splits the money that they raised every year and spend it on helping anyone who has autism. Autism doesn’t get spoken about that much and not a lot of people know that much about it or just get confused. I’m hoping that charities like this can help spread the word about autism and make it something that everyone understands more about.
This year I stepped up to Walk for Autism to show how much I care about autism. I’ll be challenging myself to walk 10,000 steps every day for 8 days while raising much-needed funds to support autistic people in the UK and Ireland.
My target was £100 and we raised £135 and (£3.85 GIFT AID) my step goal was 10,000 and I’ve done 137,258 steps
