Happy New Year | 2020

Before we get started with the first blog post of 2020 I just want to say Happy New Year to you all and I hope 2020 beings you all everything you wish for and more. I also hope you all had amazing Chrismas spending it with the people you love and care about the most.

This blog post is based on 4 things

1) My goals for 2020

2) Few things that I have planned for my blog

3) What I did at Christmas

4) My 2019 Re-View

My Goals For 2020

1) Staying more organised with everything in life

I have 2 jobs one of them is working in a shop and the other is being an admin for Lordshill Youth Project now as much as I love both my jobs they both take time. When I started working for both places I found it hard to manage them both and it took me few weeks to get my head around them both and work something outwear I can work both jobs around each other. After 2-3 months I got 60% of it sorted and well I still have some more planning to do based on both jobs and other things in my life. I feel like something is missing but I’m not 100% sure on what that is but fingers crossed I’ll be able to work that out soon.

2) Get Book Re-Views Done

In 2019 I said, “next month I will be adding book reviews to my blog” and so and well I only did one book re-view and that was based on Anna Edit’s/The Anna Edit new book “An Edited Life” and well I was hoping to have even more book reviews done by the time 2019 was finished but well that didn’t really happen. I had so many of you asking me about the next book review and I kept on saying “there will be another book re-view very soon” and well days slowly turned in to weeks, then months and so on and well I never ended up doing another one. But 2020 another book review will happen and I’ve been buying a lot of books and also got given a few books over Christmas so they will be 100% be happening and I can’t wait to get started.

3) Re-Do My Bedroom

Out of all the rooms in my house, my bedroom is my favourite room because it’s my place to go and get all my blogging and work stuff done also this is where I spend 98% of my time. Even though my room isn’t how I want at the moment but I feel like something needs to be moved or something.

4) Get My Animal Career Back On Track

I use to attend an animal college in the UK learning animal care, animal welfare and animal management from F1 to L3. When I left college I found it really hard to find a job that was based around animals because the city I live in doesn’t really have that many jobs around in that area. I’m hoping 2020 will be different.

5) Blogging

Every yeah I try to put even more work into my blog and try and be even more supportive to the blogging community then I was last year.

Few Things I have Planned For My Blog

1) Book Re-Views

As I’ve said already I’m planning more books reviews to do in 2020 and so far I have 7 books on my list that I’m going to be doing the review on and I can’t wait to get them posted.

2) The Blog Layout

I haven’t fully put this into action just yet but one thing I’m planning on doing is changing the blog layout and give it a new look.

3) Renewing “jackdeyes.com”

Every year I have to renew jackdeyes.com for the year so WordPress know that my blog is still running and so on. Every year I can’t wait to renew it because it makes me feel like my blog ready for the new year.

4) Plan Even More Blog Posts

Every year I plan blog posts for the following year so this year’s planning will be for blog posts that will go up in 2021 part from ones like this that you’re reading now. I can’t wait to get started and add even more blog posts to my list.
